Science Teaching through Art (STAR)
Role: Co-Leader
Science Teaching through Art (STAR) is a student-run organization at Stanford University aimed at encouraging scientists to use art and visual aids to convey their research with a general audience. To achieve this, we run a variety of workshops introducing scientists to various visual media. We then train them on basic storytelling and communication techniques and set them loose to design objects and artwork that tell the story of their science.
To learn more about STAR, check out this eposter that I designed for the National ComSciCon gathering in Boston, MA. The eposter outlines STAR's goals and highlights the workshops we run.
