ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Leslie.
I'm passionate about creating experiences that empower people to engage more with science and scientists. As a graduate student, I was heavily involved in student-led outreach initiatives to build experiences that allow scientists and the general public to interact and communicate with the goal of making science and scientists more approachable. I am particularly excited about opportunities that empower students and young people to become more engaged with science and empower them to become future leaders and problem solvers. I graduated from Stanford in 2019 with a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology. My thesis focused on developing a novel technique for non-invasively imaging internal organs using the fruit fly as a model organism. To learn more about my research click here. I now work in biotech with the goal of helping develop technologies to fuel the future of scientific research and discovery.
